1. About this policy
Bizrie (“Bizrie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a California-based provider of tools for creating, publishing, and playing business video content. This Privacy Policy applies to the Bizrie website, applications, account experience, connected-screen services, and support services (collectively, the “Service”).
This policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that operate under their own privacy policies. If you use Bizrie on behalf of a business, that business may also control information submitted through its workspace.
2. Information we collect
The following describes the categories of information we collect or may collect, including during the preceding 12 months:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, authentication identifiers, account role, and support communications.
- Business information: business name, industry, description, website, phone number, address, operating details, brand preferences, information about products, services, staff, events, and customer testimonials you provide.
- Content and media: scripts, prompts, project data, playlists, captions, logos, images, audio, videos, backgrounds, generated content, and other material you upload, create, publish, or authorize Bizrie to import from your business website or connected Instagram professional account.
- Music activity and preferences: music searches, selected tracks, volume and playback settings, favorites when that feature is available, and music playback events.
- AI Team Member information: selected presenters and voices, generation requests, usage history, and, for a Custom AI Team Member, approved training footage, consent recordings, facial or voice likeness, and resulting media. This material may be considered sensitive or biometric information under some laws.
- Billing information: subscription plan, purchases, transaction history, billing status, and identifiers received from Stripe. Bizrie does not store your full payment-card number.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, pages viewed, interactions, referring pages, dates and times, diagnostic data, connected-screen status, playback events, and cookie or similar identifiers.
- Support information: the information you include in support forms, emails, and related correspondence.
Please do not submit patient records, protected health information, government identifiers, financial-account credentials, information about children, or other regulated sensitive data unless Bizrie has expressly agreed in writing to accept that information.
3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you, from other authorized users in your business workspace, automatically when you use the Service, and from service providers that help us authenticate users, process payments, create media, operate support, and measure site usage. When you choose website import, we also read a limited number of publicly available pages and images from the business website you provide. When a workspace administrator connects Instagram, we import media and captions from that authorized professional account for use in the workspace.
4. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- Create and manage accounts, projects, videos, playlists, screens, and subscriptions.
- Prefill an editable business profile from public website information when you request website import.
- Find, store, analyze, and recommend relevant business photos from your website and connected Instagram professional account before searching stock media.
- Use customer testimonials you provide to create testimonial content blocks for your videos.
- Provide the music catalog, remember music choices and settings, deliver selected tracks, and understand catalog performance.
- Process prompts, scripts, media, voice, and likeness footage to generate requested content.
- Process payments, enforce plan limits, prevent fraud, and maintain transaction records.
- Provide support and communicate about accounts, transactions, security, and product updates.
- Analyze performance and usage, troubleshoot errors, and develop new features.
- Comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect Bizrie, our users, and others.
We do not use customer content to train our own general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. Third-party AI providers process submitted material according to their agreements with Bizrie and their applicable privacy terms.
5. AI processing and likeness information
When you request AI-generated content or AI-assisted website import, relevant scripts, prompts, public website text, media, and configuration choices are sent to providers that perform the requested processing. Website import creates an editable draft and does not automatically publish the extracted information. Custom AI Team Member creation requires approved footage of a real person and explicit authorization from that person. We and our providers use that material to create, operate, troubleshoot, and protect the requested feature.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights and legally sufficient consent needed for any person whose name, image, voice, or likeness you submit. Contact us to request deletion of custom-creation source material, subject to legal, security, backup, and service-delivery limitations.
Provider-generated media may contain technical provenance or watermarks. Customers must preserve any required disclosures and must not use generated media to deceive viewers about whether a person or performance is real.
Bizrie currently creates its shared background-music catalog through a self-hosted generation workflow. Customer account information, music searches, selections, and playback activity are not submitted to the music-model provider for generation. The resulting catalog files and related operational records are stored using Bizrie's infrastructure providers.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients for business purposes:
- Infrastructure and authentication providers, including Google Cloud and Firebase.
- Payment providers, including Stripe.
- AI, voice, and video providers, including OpenAI and providers used to create Standard, Premium, or Custom AI Team Member content.
- Media, social-platform, and support providers, including Meta, Pexels, and Zendesk, when you use those features.
- Analytics providers, including Google Analytics.
- Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary for legal, security, audit, insurance, or compliance purposes.
- Transaction participants in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent, including when you publish content to a connected screen or share access with another workspace user.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account and content, complete transactions, satisfy legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and protect security. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. Content may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized account access.
10. California privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, California residents may have rights to request access to or information about personal information, deletion, correction, and portability; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To submit a request, email support@bizrie.com with the subject “California Privacy Request” and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Bizrie does not knowingly sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we do not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” link.
11. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. European privacy information
For account administration, billing, security, support, and website operation, Bizrie generally acts as a controller. When Bizrie processes personal data contained in business content on a customer's documented instructions, Bizrie acts as a processor under the Data Processing Addendum.
Depending on the activity, our lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent, and our legitimate interests in providing, securing, supporting, and improving the Service. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on the people concerned. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Subject to applicable law, people in the EEA may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of their personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; withdraw consent; and complain to their local data-protection authority. Email support@bizrie.com with the subject “European Privacy Request.” We may verify identity and authority before acting.
13. International transfers
Bizrie operates from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our subprocessors operate. When required for EEA data, we use an approved transfer mechanism such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where appropriate. See the Data Processing Addendum for customer-content transfer terms.
14. EU representative
Bizrie is not currently accepting EU/EEA business signups. Before enabling them, we require completion of our EU compliance review and either an EU representative or a documented determination that the limited Article 27(2) exemption applies. Contact support@bizrie.com to join the EU launch list.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or law changes. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
